Pressure control Hydraulic valves
These valves tend to change and regulate the pressure within the tubes of the hydraulic system. They maintain the preset pressure settings, manually given by the operator. The pressure change generally comes suddenly and there are various reasons responsible for the pressure variations.
Sometimes the pressure can be too high and these hydraulic valves help in relieving the necessary pressure by preventing from leakages and bursting of the pipes. Sometimes the internal pressure is too low for operations and with the help of pressure valves, one can also increase the working pressure for better operations.

Flow Control Hydraulic Valves
These valves help in maintaining the flow of the working fluid in the hydraulic system. Here, one can increase or decrease the flow of the working fluid by opening or closing the throttle valve. With the help of such hydraulic valves, you determine the speed of the working fluid in the hydraulic system. The flow control valves help in continuous operating of the hydraulic system. These valves help in maintaining the constant speed provides accuracy and efficiency. More over enables the system with excellent performance.
Directional Control Hydraulic Valves
The directional control valve is the third and the final type of the hydraulic valves. These valves direct or navigate the working fluid according to the hydraulic system. These valves can also be termed as switching valves as they help in switching the direction quickly and safely.
One can determine the performance of the directional control valve depending on its power limit, switching time and resistance to the flow. Their longer life depends upon the leakage resistance and excellent sealing. Leakages tend to affect the workability of these hydraulic valves and due to the reduction in the volume of the hydraulic liquid.
