20 years ago , an avocado was entered in the Guinness Book of Records as the most nutritious fruit in the world and there are a lot of uses for it. An avocado is not only edible, but it has so many uses and you can even drink it.
1. Shaving cream
Store bought shaving cream contains so many chemicals. But you can make it yourself! An avocado contains vitamins A and E which nourish the skin and soften it.
Recipe: Take 1 really ripe avocado, peel it, and divide it in half, removing the seed. Blend the pulp. It should have a creamy consistency. Before shaving, apply this cream to your skin, just like ordinary shaving cream. When you’re finished, store the remainder in the refrigerator.
2. Lip cream
Lip skin is very thin which is why wrinkles form around it very easily. Avocado contains oleic acid, which makes the lips soft and full.
Recipe: Mix the pulp of 1/2 ripe avocado and 1 tsp of olive oil. Apply the mixture to the area around the lips and leave for 25 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Repeat this procedure 2 times a week.
3. Exfoliant for the face
Exfoliation of dead cells is a procedure that helps preserve the beauty and youthfulness of the skin. Avocado is one of the best ingredients for an exfoliant due to the niacin and vitamin E it contains.
Recipe: Mix the pulp of 1 ripe avocado, 2 tbsp of oatmeal powder, and 1 tbsp of raw honey. Then massage the exfoliant into the skin with circular motions. Leave the mixture on the skin for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Repeat once a week.
4. Anti-stretch mark cream
If stretch marks on your skin bother you, you can try to get rid of them with avocado cream. The fruit contains vitamins C and E, which tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
Recipe: Mix the pulp of 1 ripe avocado and 2 tbsp of almond oil thoroughly. Then apply the cream on the fingertips and massage the affected area. Leave the cream on for 35 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Repeat 2-3 times a week.
5. Treatment for the under eye area
Circles and bags under the eyes appear due to poor blood circulation and eye inflammation. Vitamins A, D, C, and B-3 in the composition of the avocado can help reduce these problems.
Recipe: Mix 1/2 an avocado and 4 cucumber circles in a blender. Cool the mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Then apply the mixture to the eyes for 25 minutes. You can repeat this procedure every morning.
6. Hair mask
If you want to increase the volume of your hair and make it shiny and soft, try using this mask. Thanks to vitamins and fatty acids it contains, an avocado will accomplish all of these demands.
Recipe: Mix the pulp of 1 ripe avocado with 2 tbsp of almond oil and 1 tsp of salt. Apply the mixture to the hair’s roots and gently massage. Next, spread the mask over the entire length of your hair and leave it on for 25 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. You can repeat this 3 times a week.
You can even make soap with an avocado and it will moisturize your skin while cleansing it.
Recipe: Mix 45 ml of water and 65 ml of lye. In a pan, heat 150 ml of avocado oil, 130 ml of coconut oil, 130 ml of olive oil, 30 ml of almond oil, 45 ml of water, and 170 g of creamy avocado puree. Cool to room temperature. Then combine both mixtures thoroughly. Add 4 drops of mint essential oil. Pour the mixture into molds and refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours. Voila!
8. Foot scrub
If you have been looking for a way to soften your cracked heels for a long time, make an avocado scrub.
Recipe: Mix 1 tbsp of salt, 1 tbsp of sugar, 2 drops of orange essential oil, and the pulp of half an avocado. Take a bath and then massage your heels with the scrub and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and wear warm socks. You can repeat this procedure 2 times a week.
9. Make-up remover
A mixture of avocado oil and avocado pulp is a great alternative to make-up remover. This mixture not only removes make-up, but also nourishes the skin with beneficial vitamins and fatty acids.
Recipe: Mix 1 tbsp of avocado oil and 1 tsp of mashed avocado pulp. Apply the mixture on your face and gently massage into the skin for 5 minutes. Then simply rinse off with water.

Recipe: Cut the avocado in half and take out the pit. Using a teaspoon, slightly remove some of the pulp from the avocado halves. Beat 2 eggs and place them in the avocado halves. Bake avo-eggs in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.

Recipe: Soak an avocado pit in a glass of water overnight. In the morning, drain the water and rinse the pit. Cut it into pieces. Put these chunks in a kettle or pour 600 ml of boiling water over it in a French press, and let it steep for 5 minutes. You can drink a cup of this tea every day. If it is too bitter for you, just add honey or coconut sugar.
12. Lemon ice cream
Avocado pulp is not just useful when it’s applied to the skin. You can also make a delicious dessert with it. For example, lemon ice cream.
Recipe: Mix the pulp of 1 very ripe avocado, 65 ml of lemon juice, 1/4 tsp of vanilla, 1/5 tsp of salt, and 130 ml of honey in a blender and blend to a smooth consistency. Then add 1 tsp of lemon zest. Mix again. Put the ice cream into molds and place in the freezer. 5 hours later, the ice cream will be done.
13. Strawberry-avo mousse
Here’s another dessert with avocado and for this one, you only need 5 minutes to make it.
Recipe: In a blender, blend 100 g of strawberries, the pulp of 1 avocado, 7 mint leaves, 30 ml of orange juice, and 2 tsp of raw honey. It’s the easiest recipe ever, isn’t it?

16. Avocado brownies

Recipe: Preheat the oven to 356º F. Blend 2 ripe avocados, 2 large ripe bananas, 1/2 cup coconut oil, 4 eggs, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 cup of cocoa powder, and 1 tsp of salt. Transfer the dough to the baking pan and place it into the oven. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
