Apollo 13 is one of the best science fiction movie ever produced. The movie is about NASA’s Apollo mission which has sent three astronauts to the moon. The mission to moon is named as Apollo 13. The Imitation Game is about the well-known engineer and mathematician Alan Turing, who is from England. He makes a machine with a team of cryptography experts to decipher the German Nazis enigma code. They takes only two years to build that machine. The movie is full of spy thriller and vulnerability the main character has shown. So, don’t miss this movie which is based on the real life story of Alan Turing.

This movie is still one of the highest grossing Bollywood movie ever made. The movie is all about the ups and down of three engineer friends and their engineering journey. One friend is lost after graduation from the two other friends. So, they both set on journey to find him. Along the journey, they reconsider and think about their university days when their friend made them to understand everything differently.
5 The Matrix
The Matrix original movie is also considered as one of the greatest action movies. The movie is plotted on a simulation system termed as ‘The Matrix‘. Some powerful computers have constructed this system. The Matrix is capable to construct and change the complete reality of the humans. So, the main character of the movie starts an underground war against these powerful computers. The main character of the movie named Thomas Anderson is a computer scientist and a programmer.
6 Interstellar
Interstellar is a 2014 epic science fiction film. In the future, Earth is slowly becoming uninhabitable. Ex-NASA pilot Cooper, along with a team of researchers, is sent on a planet exploration mission to report which planet can sustain life.
7 Transcendence
Transcendence is all about artificial intelligence where one scientist takes dangerous road by uploading his mind’s imagination to a computer system. He wants to combine all the intelligent minds of the world on a single machine with real human reactions. Definitely a worth watching movie for engineers.
